Nearly a decade ago, I picked up a camera, started a photography business and built it from the ground up — just me, an alarming number of browser tabs and a determination to figure it out.

A few years later, I hired an SEO company that promised more leads. Instead, my inquiries dropped, I was paying around $300 a month for a website that wasn’t working, and when I tried to leave, my domain was held hostage for nearly a year.

So I learned to do it myself.

I studied Digital Marketing & SEO, earned my certification and rebuilt my photography website from scratch. Eventually, I reached the first page of Google for my target searches and started generating more inquiries than before.

And somewhere along the way, I realized I genuinely loved building websites. That’s how Fig & Pixel was born.
